Rajesh Choudhary, who has won two Asian Games Bronze medals in the 2002 and 2006 editions of the Games, has been awarded the Arjuna award for his outstanding contribution to the sport, this was announced here on Thursday by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.

India’s largest carrier of air passengers, Air India, is the official airline of the India International Regatta 2010, the Yachting Association of India announced today. Air India will facilitate travel of sportspersons during this year’s mega sailing event. The airline signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Organising Committee to be the official carrier for the event to be held from 3 -10 October, 2010 at Chennai.

Dave Atkinson and Peter Conway of United Kingdom have been appointed as the Coaches for the Asian Games 2010, taking place in Shanwei, China from 12 -27 Nov 2010. India will field entries in two open events the Match Racing and Laser (Radial) and in the Optimist (Boys & Girls) events.
