President: Admiral Nirmal Verma PVSM, AVSM, ADC; assumed command of the Indian Navy on 31 August '09, as the 20th CNS and the 18th Indian in this office. Admiral Verma is a specialist in Communication & Electronic Warfare with almost four decades of experience spanning numerous afloat and ashore appointments.

Vice President: Lt. General A.K. Nanda AVSM an alumni of  N.D.A. Pune; D.S.S.C. Wellington; Army War College, Mhow & National Defence College. General  Nanda was commissioned into the Bengal Sappers in Dec 1969 and during his 40 years of illustrious service, has held numerous command & staff appointments.

Chairman National Classes Committee: Vice-Admiral S. Bhasin PVSM, AVSM, VSM is a graduate of the 38th NDA Course and was commissioned into the executive branch of the Indian Navy on Jan 1st 1972. A specialist in navigation and aircraft direction, he has served as Navigating Officer on a variety of fleet ships.

Chairman Sailing Performance Development Committee:Vice Admiral Anup Singh AVSM NM was commissioned in the Indian Navy on 01 Jul 1973, he is a keen sportsman and  has many National Championship titles to his credit and  also won  a Medal at the Asian Sailing Championships in 1981. He was the Sailing Master of the India's first square-rigged Sail Training Vessel ‘Varuna’ in 1980-82.  He also skippered the Naval Yacht ‘Samudra’ for the Pacific crossing during her round-the-world voyage in 1989.

Chairman Offshore & Motor Boating Committee: Vice-Admiral K.N. Sushil PVSM, AVSM, NM was commissioned into the executive branch of the Indian Navy in 1973 and thereafter joined the submarine arm in 1976. Admiral Sushil has been decorated for display of utmost dedication and devotion of an exemplary nature to his duty.

Chairman National (Asian Games & Olympic) Classes Committee:  Lt. General I.J. Singh AVSM VSM

Treasurer:  Commodore A.S. Bajwa VSM has been associated with the sport  for many years, having served  both as the Joint Secretary and the Secretary General of the federation for over a decade.

Chairman Events Committee: Lt. General K.S. Rao retired from Indian Army in 2008, after a distinguished service spanning more than 38 years. An Arjuna awardee for the sport of yachting, the General was the skipper of the Indian Army's first  round the world sailing expedition on board Trishna (1984-85).

Secretary General: Captain Atul Anand has been associated with the sport for many years.
